As Grand Lake Lodge kicks off the 2024 Summer Season, we invite our guests to travel back to a place where making lifelong memories has been the destination for over 100 years.

Begin your summer mountain adventure to Grand Lake with a road trip over famed Trail Ridge Road. Beginning in the front range, road travelers will wind their way west over the 48-mile stretch of U.S. Highway 34, traversing beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park from Estes Park in the east over to Grand Lake in the west.

On your drive, you’ll be awed by the views and if you’re lucky, you might just see herds of elk wandering the high county. So break out your map and buckle up for the perfect road trip on one of Colorado’s most scenic roads.
